We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our procurement department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless procurement of materials and supplies essential to our HVAC business operations.

Key Duties:

-Collaborate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing for HVAC equipment, components, and materials.
-Foster and nurture strong supplier relationships, regularly evaluating performance and negotiating contracts.
-Stay abreast of market trends and industry developments to make informed procurement decisions.
-Maintain optimal inventory levels, striking a balance between stock availability and minimizing surplus.
-Liaise effectively with various departments, including operations and finance, to streamline procurement processes.
-Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to enhance cost efficiency and procurement effectiveness.
-Keep meticulous records of purchases, pricing, and supplier data.
-Promptly address and resolve supply issues and discrepancies.
-Ensure compliance with industry regulations and procurement standards relevant to our field.

Qualifications:

-Demonstrated expertise with 1-2 years of successful procurement and purchasing experience, preferably in the HVAC industry.
-Proficiency in procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
-Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
-Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
-Analytical mindset, leveraging data for well-informed decision-making.
-Impeccable attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills.
-Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
-A collaborative team player with cross-functional communication skills.

Job Type:
-Full-time, 8-hour shift
-Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
