A dermatology clinic located in downtown Flushing is looking for a full time medical assistant and medical scribe who is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese. The job entails taking detailed and relevant medical history, scribing for the providers, and assisting in-office procedures and surgeries. You will be working alongside a few providers to gain firsthand clinical experience, assist procedures, lasers, and surgeries. All work is done on electronic health record. Our practice has a collegial and professional working environment. A positive demeanor is mandatory to provide patient care. Other key qualities we look for are being well-organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Experience in healthcare is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
