We are an established wholesaler of restaurant front- and back-of-the house supplies located in central New Jersey. Human Resources Specialist is part of the Company's administrative team and will work closely with Management on HR-related matters and activities in all aspects.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting
e.g.
create and post job ads
receive and organize candidate resumes
conduct phone screenings
schedule interviews
do reference check.
• Assist with hiring new employees
e.g.
conduct background check
prepare new employee packets
ensure completeness of new hire paperwork
deliver orientation
relay the Company's policies
procedures and benefits to new employees.
• Assist with process of employee resignation and termination
e.g.
oversee employee's return of the Company's properties
process cancellation of employee benefits.
• Maintain records of employee attendance and absence
paid time off included
relay the same to employees
answer employee's inquiries about the same
liaison with the Company's payroll and Accounts Payable (AP) teams
• Assist with employee-benefit-related matters by working with benefit brokers and providers
oversee monthly invoicing on employee benefits by working with the Company's AP team
• Ensure accuracy of employee information
including tax-related forms
keep employee information up-to-date on file
• Draft
modify and maintain the Company's HR policies
employee handbook
and Process & Procedure of each department.
• Keep updated on HR-related laws and regulations
communicate the same with Management.
• Provide employment verification as requested by current and past employees
• Other HR or office administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration
• 2+ years of related work experience
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
